PHPCloud is Shutting Down

PHPCloud is about to shut down its service. Zend chooses to focus on developing their professional tools and on their professional services and let the big players (e.g. Amazon, Google and Microsoft) do their work. I guess the question to be asked is why did they even start this initiative. Staying focused on what you are doing best is one of most popular business rules these days. Moving into new directions should be carefully managed in the light of the available financial resources.

Following this evolvement I guess I should take of my PHPCloud Basics course from my free professional courses website at abelski.lifemichael.com. I guess I should also update the content of my Software Engineering in PHP course.
