Installing Tomcat on Your PC PRO</font

I am writing this post for the benefit of my new Java EE students who have no experience with downloading and installing the Tomcat web container.

The following video clip includes the detailed instructions you need to follow in order to download and install the Tomcat Java Servlets & JSP container.

Once you complete the download you can connect it with your Eclipse Java EE IDE, which will allow you to work with it from within the Eclipse. You can alternatively work with it directly.

The following two video clips will provide you with a short jump start. The first explains how to start the Tomcat application. The second explains how to deploy a simple Java servlet on it.
