The facemoods application allows us to embed cute emoticons into the textual status messages we post in our facebook account. We can place the small emoticons into our status, chat, messages and comments.
The facemoods browser plugin is automatically installed into the web browser once installing the facemoods software application on our computer. Unlike the common case of web browsers plugins, the user isn’t aware of the fact that facemoods is actually a web browser plugin. The user thinks it is a simple software application only.
Similarly to pringles overshare, facemoods renders additional code injected into the code the web browser renders. The additional code creates the small icons and allows the user choosing which to embed into the new created text.
