Mastering Code Through Words: My Programming Books
The first three books I published were in Hebrew and they were created in order to assist students in their studies. I wrote them in order to assist students that took courses in Micro Economics. I published them in 1996 following my experience teaching Micro Economics courses in the Open University.
The Yes/No Questions in Microeconomics
Preparation for The Microeconomics Exam
The Microeconomics domain has always been one of my favorites. I am probably one of the few students in history who got 100 in all three Pricing Theory courses delivered as part of the BA in Economics academic program at Tel-Aviv University. My passion for continuing my evolution in Economics has always clashed with my passion for computer programming. In 1994, following an average of nearly 98 in my Economics courses, I was invited to join the direct, special program for MA in Economics (at Tel-Aviv University). I left that program shortly after and followed my heart and passion for programming. At that time, it wasn’t clear whether it would be possible to make my living working in programming, so at the same I also completed my BA in Accounting and my MBA (Information Systems). In 1998, I chose to stop teaching microeconomics courses at the Open University and focus on programming. Shortly after I started teaching programing, both in academic institutions, high-tech companies and in public courses.
In 2024, I decided to start writing programming books in English. I chose to focus on the Kindle platform and avoid printing. The possibility of updating the digital book and having it immediately spread all over the world and, at the same time, saving our planet were probably the two most important factors in my decision.
