Android 3.0 Action Bar PRO

The action bar is a widget shown on top of the screen. It includes the application logo on its left side together with items available from the options menu on the right. We can select which items of the options menu will be displayed as action bar items. The action bar is very similar to the menu bar we know from stand alone applications running on a standard desktop. The action bar is available when running our application on android 3.0 large screen devices (tablets).

I have recently completed to develop the community version of my Android 3.0 Tablets UI course. you can find it available for free personal usage at www.abelski.com. This course includes detailed slides that overview the possibilities when working with the action bar as well as code samples. The following video clips present some of these code samples.
