I had the pleasure of delivering my talk “When Code Is Cheap, Specifications Matter” at CyprusAIEXPO 2026 on July 4, 2026. The talk focused on the shift from code-first development to specification-first engineering, where specifications become the missing layer between human intent, AI execution, traceability, and long-term system control.
Delivering My Talk
I was very excited to deliver my talk and especially grateful to the new Israeli friends I met, who heard about it and came to honor me with their presence.

Feedbacks for My Talk
The feedback I got for my talk was very warm. Many came to thank me personally after the talk, and some have even sent me warm feedback via WhatsApp and email.

The following is the feedback I received from Melissa on WhatsApp:
This talk reinforced something I strongly believe: as AI-assisted development becomes more powerful, software engineering must move toward clearer intent, stronger specifications, better traceability, and more disciplined human-AI collaboration. Thank you again to the Israeli Organization for System Engineering, and to everyone who attended, asked questions, challenged ideas, and helped turn this session into a meaningful professional discussion.
