I had the pleasure of delivering my talk on Spec-Driven Software Systems Development with AI to the Israeli Organization for System Engineering. The talk focused on the shift from code-first development to specification-first engineering, in which specs serve as the missing layer between human intent, AI execution, traceability, and long-term system control.
Excellent Organization
Many thanks to the Israeli Organization for System Engineering for the excellent organization, professional atmosphere, and smooth execution of the entire session.
High Quality Attendees
The quality of the attendees was exceptional, clearly reflected in the depth, precision, and volume of questions raised during the talk. In total, there were more than 150 participants.
Slides Available Online
The slides used during my talk are available online at SlideShare.net. They summarize the key ideas presented in my talk.
The Video
The video captures not only the talk itself, but also the energy, curiosity, and strong professional engagement that made this session so special.
This talk reinforced something I strongly believe: as AI-assisted development becomes more powerful, software engineering must move toward clearer intent, stronger specifications, better traceability, and more disciplined human-AI collaboration. Thank you again to the Israeli Organization for System Engineering, and to everyone who attended, asked questions, challenged ideas, and helped turn this session into a meaningful professional discussion.
