Functional Programming in Java Seminar
The recent evolution of the Java programming language and especially the new capabilities that were introduced in Java 8 (lambda expressions and streams) provide us with a new set of tools that enable us to implement functional programming principles.
Taking this seminar, you will learn how to implement functional programming principles in your code by using lambda expressions and streams. Taking this seminar you will gain an in-depth understanding of these two important topics and become capable of implementing functional programming paradigm in your code. This seminar will be captured on video in order to allow you going over the material after it ends. This seminar will be delivered in English. Each participant should come with his own laptop. Wifi will be available. Attending remotely online is possible. Comparing with the Functional Programming in Java course, the seminar is more intense and includes less practice (more than 80% of the time is dedicated for the lecture itself).
